I don’t believe in miracles, but if I did I would swear that Tracey Garry at Ripley Layne Hair Loss Solutions could perform them!

My name is Denise, and I was born a man a long time ago! Like a lot of Trans girls, I’ve left it very late to transition, and part of the reason why was that my hair had receded a little. Well, more than a little. It had receded all the way to the back of my head, and I looked like a monk!

I had tried wigs but was never very comfortable in them. I always felt vulnerable to losing the wig for several reasons and let’s face it, nobody wants to see a bald man in a dress.

And then I met Tracey! She instantly put me at ease, explained the process of measuring and fixing, cutting in and styling at our first meeting. Suffice to say I was back at the first opportunity and was quickly measured and had an order placed. A few weeks later, I was able to begin my social transition sporting a very stylish Pixie Cut.

Tracey continued to support me through my transition, and I’m now happy to say that I’ve lived full-time in my chosen gender since July 2016. The miracle? Having the confidence to complete my transition by having nice, feminine hair.
